Thai Healing Hands Ltd. ("we", "us", "our") is a registered massage therapy clinic located at 13805 – 127 Street NW, Edmonton, Alberta T6V 1A8. We are committed to protecting the personal information of our clients, website visitors, and prospective clients in accordance with Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and applicable Canadian privacy legislation.
This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and what your rights are. By using our website or booking an appointment with us, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

When you book an appointment or contact us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and any message you choose to send. This information is used solely to manage your appointment and communicate with you about your care.
Before your first session, you will be asked to complete a health intake form through our booking platform, Jane App. This form collects information about your health history, current conditions, medications, and areas of concern. This information is used exclusively to inform your treatment and to ensure your safety during sessions. It is never shared with third parties for marketing or any non-clinical purpose.
Payment is processed through Jane App's secure payment system. Thai Healing Hands does not store credit card numbers or banking details on our own systems. Please refer to Jane App's privacy policy for details on how payment data is handled.
When you visit our website, analytics tools collect anonymised data including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and session duration. This data is used only to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. See Section 5 for details on the specific tools we use.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use your information for unsolicited marketing without your explicit consent.

Clinical records (health intake forms, SOAP notes, and treatment history) are retained for a minimum of ten (10) years following your last appointment, in accordance with the standards of the College of Massage Therapists of Alberta (CMTA) and applicable provincial regulations.
Contact and booking information is retained for as long as necessary to manage your relationship with the clinic, and then securely deleted. Website analytics data is retained in accordance with the retention policies of Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (see Section 5).

We use the following third-party services to operate the clinic and this website. Each has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.
Jane App
Our booking, intake forms, payment processing, and receipt system. Jane App stores your appointment history, health intake information, and payment records in Canada. Jane App is compliant with Canadian privacy legislation including PIPEDA and provincial health information protection acts.
Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymised data about how visitors use this website (pages viewed, session duration, referral source). This data does not identify you personally. You may opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Microsoft Clarity
Microsoft Clarity records anonymised session data including mouse movements, clicks, and scroll behaviour to help us understand how visitors interact with the site. Clarity does not collect personally identifiable information. Data is processed by Microsoft in accordance with their privacy policy.
Google Fonts
This website loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When the page loads, your browser makes a request to Google's servers, which may log your IP address. No personally identifiable information is passed beyond the standard HTTP request.
